Who runs DATA WORLD, how we handle the information you share with us on this site, and our rules for quoting and reprinting our articles. This is an English translation of our Japanese privacy policy; if the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.

03Cookies and analytics
Only if you allow cookies, we analyze traffic with Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, and with ANKAN, a marketing tool provided by our operator, dattala Co., Ltd. To tell visits apart, a random identifier may be stored in your browser.
If you contact us after allowing cookies, we may link your inquiry with your browsing activity in that browser to handle your inquiry and improve the site. If you have not allowed cookies, we do not link them.

04External services
- Our contact form is provided by ANKAN, a customer management tool from our operator, dattala Co., Ltd. What you submit (name, email address, company or affiliation, subject and message) is registered in ANKAN, and ANKAN sends the notification to our editorial team and the confirmation email to you.
- Videos in our articles are embedded from YouTube (Google LLC) in privacy-enhanced mode. When you play a video, viewing information is sent to YouTube.
05Sharing with third parties
Except as required by law, we do not share personal information with third parties without your consent.
06Quoting and reprinting our articles
You may quote our articles and charts within reasonable limits, as long as you credit "DATA WORLD" and link to the article. Please contact us in advance if you want to modify our charts or reprint articles at scale for commercial purposes.
Rights to third-party images and data quoted in our articles belong to their respective owners.
